Great news, the 50/50 Lotto has new people to run it and so is to be relaunched for 2025.

There will be a few changes:

• Funds will be ring fenced to fund targetted purchases

• Progress towards each target will be publicised in the club and on social media

• Draws, during playing months, will be made either during training sessions or match days

• Club Social Membership is being removed and replaced with 50/50 Lotto membership, so all Lotto members continue to have social membership

• Prizes will increase to £75 and £30, with an option for £85 and £35 if applied to membership cards for purchases at the bar.

The cost of membership has also been reviewed as the entry fee of £2 a month has not been altered since the start. Therefore, the costs of each entry will rise to £3. The hope is that current members will be happy to increase their contribution, but to support their continued support if not there will be a weighting introduced such that £2 entries will count as 2/3 of a ball, and similar for those paying other amounts.  The 50/50 Lotto year will tun from Jan-Dec with those currently playing the full amount in one payment requested to pay a pro-rata amount in 2025.
